May 9, JEL Racing visited Malden Speedway in Malden, MO with the Rislone USCS Modified Series for day one of a two day show. The night started with Joseph running the USCS Dash for Cash. He started on the outside pole and led all six laps to take the dash win.
After having a poor heat race finsh of 7th, Joe had to start 21st in the feature. When the 25 lap feature was up, he had moved up to 17th. Joe claimed the setup was just missed but they would get them next time.
May 10, Malden was declared rained out by mid day. Joseph left Malden, MO and went drove to Milan, TN race with the SMP Modifed Series. Unfortunately, rain struck them too, and it was cancelled.
JEL Racing visited Poinsett County Speedway this past (May 3) weekend for the first time in 2008. With a total of 29 modifieds, making the show would be a victory alone. After having a bad heat race Joseph had to start 9th in the B-main with only four transfering to the feature. Taking a 4th place finish, Joseph moved to the A-main. By the end of the feature Joseph had charged up to a 10th place finish and was quite happy with how the night ended.
JEL Racing will be competing in the event below. This should be a fun action packed weekend and they are looking forward to it!
